          So, here we are in 2018!  The trade war between the US and China has become a major topic.  It seems to be affecting everything, taking the Breaking News media completely over.  This appears to me like they are playing cards, gambling with the world as the pot.  We don’t have any idea what is going to happen in this poker game; which country, which player will win.  So I’m thinking about the people and institutions and everything else all over the world that will be affected by this game; workers in so many enterprises, businesses large and small, governments and politicians, even innocent animals, and me and my family.  And what appears before me is this painting.  The world controlled by these two power-hungry men gambling with the lives and livelihoods of people.  A trade war!  A war indeed!  Who really looses in this poker game, in this war?
